On 15 August 2026, 46 employees from our Singapore operations came together at East Coast Park Area F for a beach cleanup initiative, contributing a total of 138 volunteer hours and covering approximately 1 kilometer of coastline.
Together, the team removed 495.65 kg of marine debris, including plastics, styrofoam and other bulky waste materials such as discarded ropes and wooden pallets. By removing these items from the coastal environment, the initiative helped reduce potential risks to marine wildlife, minimise the formation of microplastics, and support the protection of local coastal ecosystems.
The activity also marked the first joint CSR initiative involving employees from our Headquarters and M-Tech, bringing colleagues together in support of a common environmental cause.
Building on our inaugural beach cleanup programme conducted in 2025, this initiative reflects our continued commitment to environmental responsibility through employee participation and collective action. Through efforts such as these, we aim to contribute towards cleaner coastlines, healthier ecosystems, and a stronger culture of environmental stewardship within our organisation and the communities where we operate.
